The Unity World Orchestra is an ensemble of musicians and singers that
had that was born out of a vision I had in 2003. The ultimate manifestation
of the orchestra is that that least one person from every country in the
world come together to perform “Let There Be Peace On Earth” The Orchestra
had its inaugural performance with 17 original memembers in September of
2008. It was hosted by the “Sound Connections Music Conference” which is
facilitated by the Association of Unity Churches International. WHO CAN BE IN THE ORCHESTRA If you play ANY instrument, band, orchestral or otherwise, or if you sing
you can be a part of the orchestra. We are looking for qualified section
leaders and experienced players to enhance the orchestra. HOW TO JOIN It is as simple as attending the Sound Connections Music Conference. It
is held annually at Unity Village in Kansas City Missouri. The Orchestra is
one of the workshops that is part of the conference. The Orchestra will one
day become its own week long work shop and eventually it will become a full
time touring orchestra, but for right now, we are grateful for the nuturing
and the space that Sound Connections has given us. Information on Sound
